Spanish Minor

Enhance your Ability to Function in Today's World

Choosing to minor in Spanish can enhance your ability to function in today's world, especially within rewarding careers like teaching, business, government and community relations. A Minor in Spanish requires students to complete, with the grade of a C or above, 18 credit hours in Spanish beginning at the intermediate level I (SPAN 103). One 3 credit hours of a related course taught in English can be counted as one elective course. Please consider our policy of retroactive credits.

Be aware: the course you need to take to claim retroactive credit might not be offered every academic term. 

You can claim Retroactive Credits providing: AP credits, BI Seal, CLEP or other Spanish Placement Test.
