60th Anniversary of the Ludden Speech and Language Clinic

We welcome alumni from Communication Science Disorders to join us for the 60th Anniversay of Saint Xavier University's Ludden Speech and Language Clinic in the Warde Academic Center.

The key presenter for this event will be American Ninja Warrior, Kyle Schulze, also known as the "Deaf Ninja."

Schulze was born with a bilateral profound hearing loss, but it wasn't discovred until he was three years old.  He received his first pair of hearing aids and learned American Sign Language. After 16 years of speech therapy, Schulze now uses multiple modes of communication including speech, lip-reading and ASL.

As a competitor on the American Ninja Warrior, Schulze is spreading his positive attitude about achieving your goals regardless of the challenges you may face.
