Dayanara Diaz joined Saint Xavier University in June 2025 as a freshman admission counselor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and media from the University of Michigan, where she transferred after beginning her studies at community college.

As a proud first-generation college graduate, Diaz understands that student success is often shaped by complex factors outside of students’ control. Her own journey has strengthened her belief that education should be a bridge, not a barrier, and that every student deserves the tools and knowledge to move forward with confidence. In her role at SXU, Diaz is dedicated to empowering students to take ownership of their college journeys while guiding them through the admission process and connecting them with resources for success.
