Biography
Having always called the Chicago area her home base, Gloria Avalos is a proud Saint Xavier alumna and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and international studies with a minor in Latino studies from the University. Through her personal and professional experiences within higher education, she has always been passionate about the field and helping students succeed in their own journeys as she was a first-generation student herself. Soon after completing her undergraduate studies, she obtained a Master of Arts in international education management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California.
In her free time, Avalos loves to travel, try new cuisines, learn languages, play board games and trivia, watch film and TV, and read fiction and memoir books.
