Biography
Alma Tovar graduated from Saint Xavier University in 2020 with dual bachelor's degrees in graphic design and computer information systems. During their tenure as a student, Tovar worked closely with faculty members at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) and Student Media Center troubleshooting software and hardware issues and maintaining a production schedule for the student newspaper. As an instructional multimedia specialist, they assist faculty by developing online and on-campus learning content and collaborating with the instructional design team to create a media production process. They oversee the Center for Instructional Design and Academic Technology (CIDAT) instructional studio, located in the Warde Academic Center (WAC).
