Biography
Adriana Del Olmo is a bilingual licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois. Del Olmo earned her bachelor’s degree from Saint Xavier University and her master’s degree from Northwestern University in mental health counseling. She works from an eclectic and holistic approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, ACT, and a psychodynamic approach.
Del Olmo believes in working with clients collaboratively in order to foster growth, meet goals, and promote healing. She has experiencing treating a wide array of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and trauma. Del Olmo has a strong interest in disordered eating. She values independence, interpersonal relationships, strength healing, social justice and identity development. Del Olmo’s goal and approach is to provide a safe, supportive and compassionate environment to aid in symptom relief and empowerment for the client.
