Corinne Morgan

Office:Driehaus Center
Department:Counseling Center

Corinne Morgan is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and holds a Professional Educator License in school counseling, with experience in counseling adults, adolescents and children. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in counseling from Saint Xavier University. Morgan has worked with neurodivergent individuals, persons with chronic illness, families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She spent the last eight years of her career working with children aged 3-18 in the school setting and has recently decided to make the switch to the college-aged population. She has chosen to use her skills to assist young adults with their transitions to independence and to help them build confidence in themselves, leading to fulfilling adulthood.

Morgan is experienced with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating concerns, mood dysregulation, neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD, and adjustment. She utilizes therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness, behavior modification, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Morgan believes in embracing the individuality of each client and working collaboratively to help them find who they want to be. She is thrilled to be back at SXU as a staff member and looks forward to helping students find success.
