Biography
Cathy Gillen, MSN, MBA, RN, joined Saint Xavier University in 2018 as a full-time faculty member. She obtained her MSN/MBA from Saint Xavier and her BSN from Kendall College. She comes to SXU after working as an associate professor of nursing at Northwestern College.
Cathy has over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse working in psychiatric nursing, forensic nursing and oncology. Her professional roles include associate director of nursing and nurse manager. She enjoys gardening, politics, attending horse shows, reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
