Biography
Breeanna Villalpando studied at Saint Xavier University for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was an Honors Program student and recognized with the Outstanding English Major Award. She also received the Tutor of the Year Award and served as a features writer for the Xavierite and an editor for Opus. She earned her graduate degree in professional writing from Chatham University. She is also currently adjunct faculty in the Language and Literature Department and teaches Professional Writing and Communication.
Villalpando is responsible for writing, editing and proofreading marketing and web copy to ensure brand values are clearly communicated; directing project development and managing scope, goals and deliverables; providing strategic direction for all University publications; leading a committee focused on value proposition and brag points; coordinating relations with local and national media outlets; writing, editing and submitting press releases on University events and accomplishments; guiding University staff and faculty in media planning; and writing articles for SXU News. In conjunction with working at Saint Xavier University, she continues to work on freelance and fiction writing projects.
