Using Your Account to Reset Your Password
If you have forgotten your SXU netID password and have previously registered your account with myPassword, you may use the system to reset your password without additional intervention.
When you reset your password, be sure the new string is at least 8 characters, contains mixed case and at least 1 number or symbol. (For example: SamplePW99).
(Be sure to register first.)
If you need assistance, please reach out: 773-298-HELP (773-298-4357).
Manual password resets must be done by a full time staff member. We will ensure a full time staff member is available during these hours for manual resets M-F 9-10 a.m. (central) and 4-5 p.m. (central), and outside those hours we will page a team member to assist. If unavailable we will take information and call back as soon as possible. To avoid needing human intervention we strongly encourage registration on mypassword.sxu.edu. Walk-up assistance can be found within the Warde Academic Center, room L-121.
