Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Response and Prevention

As a Catholic university sponsored by the Conference for Mercy Higher Education and the Sisters of Mercy, Saint Xavier affirms the basic human dignity of all persons, including the right to be free from harassment and discrimination on the basis of sex or gender. In support of this fundamental belief, and in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the University prohibits discrimination in all educational programs and activities on the basis of sex and gender.

Programs and activities protected under Title IX include academic programs, admissions, athletics, financial aid, housing, career services, counseling and health services, student activities and employment.
