Student Support


The Office of Student Support is a campus-wide initiative under the Center for SUCCESS umbrella aimed to enhance the college experience from college entry to degree completion for incoming first-year and currently enrolled students at Saint Xavier University. Staff within Student Support provide services to help students develop academic skills, provide academic support, and link students to resources. The Office of Student Support partners with faculty, advisors and other departments to help students navigate challenges and provide support when needed.

Academic Support Services

Academic support services within the Office of Student Support include:

  • Academic support
  • Advocacy
  • Peer mentorship
  • Workshops
  • Identifying academic and personal strengths and challenges
  • Developing of academic plans
  • Referrals to campus and community resources

Student Support seeks to cultivate academic development through the Student Success Academy and Rebound programs that build foundation skills. These may include workshops on academic skills to support students' growth throughout college. Both programs aim to help students overcome unique barriers, such as learning and personal challenges.
