General Resources

You will find a number of general career resources to help you prepare for career and educational opportunities as an LGBTQIA+ student. In addition, you will find advocacy resources highlighting information on assistance with coming out and transitioning in the workplace, state and federal policies, and workforce laws relating to LGTBQIA+ issues.

The VelvetJobs website has a comprehensive collection of LGBTQIA+ career development resources including a language, law, job search strategies, and a listing of LGBTQIA+ friendly employers.

The GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) is an organization with a focus on a society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation.

Pride at Work National is a non-profit organization that seeks full equality for LGBTQIA+ individuals in the workplace.

Campus Pride is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering safer college environments for LGBTQIA+ students. Campus Pride also provides job search resources including a job database.

Trans Student Educational Resources (TSER) is a youth-led advocacy group dedicated to transforming the educational environment for trans and gender nonconforming students.

Transgender Law is a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging in effective advocacy for transgender people.

The Movement Advancement Project (MAP) is an organization dedicated to helping speed equality for LGTBQIA+ people through research, insight and analysis.
