A Welcome Message from The Provost

Welcome to Saint Xavier University, a Catholic institution of higher education inspired by the heritage of the Sisters of Mercy. As provost, I work collaboratively with deans, administrators, faculty and staff to provide academic leadership in all matters related to student learning, academic affairs, mission effectiveness, assessment, accreditation and strategic planning. At Saint Xavier, we are committed to educating the whole person for competence, character and career success, and our graduates are successful, compassionate and productive members of society.

We are proud to be recognized as a Hispanic-serving institution serving many first-generation students and those adult learners seeking to complete their education. At Saint Xavier, we offer high-quality rigorous undergraduate and graduate academic programs in three distinct academic divisions: the College of Liberal Arts and Education, the Graham School of Management and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. We pride ourselves on delivering programs that offer small classes with an active and engaging learning environment with dedicated and caring faculty.

Effective student learning occurs both inside and outside the classroom, and we provide many co-curricular activities, student organizations and service opportunities to foster student leadership development. We offer experiential learning opportunities, including research experiences, capstone courses, practicums and internships.

On behalf of the diverse community of faculty, staff and administrators at Saint Xavier, welcome -- we are all committed to your success!
