1. The most memorable moment of my time at SXU thus far was…
I have many memories from my time at SXU! But my most recent one was the Office of Admission Dodge Ball Team. We assembled a team of both students and staff to participate in Intramurals in the Shannon Center. Although we did not come in first place, we had a good time playing, laughing and joking together.
2. Why do I like my job?
I am a huge advocate for education, so working as an Admission Counselor allows for me to talk to students about the importance of going to college and the benefits of coming to SXU. I find it very rewarding helping people achieve a higher education!
3. What do I do for fun?
For fun I enjoy playing basketball, working out and hanging out with friends. When I have a chance I also enjoy cooking. Oh, and of course coming to work at SXU!
4. What is your favorite season in Chicago? Why?
My favorite season is Chicago would be summer. There is nowhere in the world like Chicago in the summer time! Not only do you have great weather, you can enjoy many of the Chicago traditions such as the Taste of Chicago, Chicago Rib Fest and Lollapalooza.
5. What are favorite places to eat near the SXU campus?
I have quite a few places that I enjoy eating at near SXU: Portillo's, Pop's, Barroco's and Taco Burrito King to name a few. But I'm always willing to venture off to find a new place to eat. I am will to try just about anything once.
6. What are your favorite things to do in Chicago?
I enjoy going to Chicago Bulls games, the Auto Show, downtown Chicago, hanging out by the lake and, of course, going out to eat at different places.
