A degree in psychology provides the foundation for a variety of career paths. With a degree in psychology, one might expect to find work in such fields as education, sales, marketing, social work, data analysis, administration, and many more. Psychology Major and Minor Requirements

Graduation with a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Psychology requires completing 37 credit hours in the major with a grade of C or better. Transfer students must complete at least five 300-level psychology courses at SXU.

Students planning to minor in psychology must complete, with a grade of C or better, five courses (15 credit hours) in psychology beyond Psychology 101. At least three of the five courses must be from the 300-level and at least three of the five courses must be taken at SXU.
