About the Program

The BBA degree has the following majors: Accounting, Cybersecurity Administration, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Finance, Management, Professional Sales, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management.   1. Goal #1: Students will demonstrate proficiency in various forms of communication.
    • 1.1 Students demonstrate the ability to communicate business findings or solutions in a written format.
    • 1.2 Students demonstrate the ability to communicate business findings in verbal or visual communication.
  2. Goal #2: Students will apply industry ethical standards to various issues.
    • 2.1 Students can apply an ethical framework to their decision-making process.
    • 2.2 Students can recognize and understand the importance of diversity in organizations.
    • 2.3 Students can evaluate the societal impact of organizational activities on environmental and social sustainability.
  1. Goal #3: Students will use analytical skills for decision-making.
    • 3.1 Students can apply quantitative skills to real-world scenarios to create solutions to business problems.
    • 3.2 Students demonstrate the ability to perform analyses related to business problems using quantitative methods and appropriate technological tools.
  1. Goal #4: Students will have the ability to address real-world problems.
    • 4.1 Students demonstrate the ability to solve real-world problems through project-based cases or simulations.

Colleges of Distinction Five Years Buisness Badge

BBA+MBA ACcelerated Dual Degree

SXU's accelerated BBA+MBA Dual Degree program combines a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration and a two-year Master of Business Administration into a five-year program. Students complete 120 credit hours of undergraduate coursework and 30 credit hours of graduate coursework to fulfill the dual BBA+MBA degree. Students may take up to 12 credit hours of MBA coursework concurrent with their undergraduate coursework during their senior year.

Students are encouraged to apply to the 4+1 program in their junior year. Upon acceptance, students may register for courses at the graduate level with permission from the director of the Graham School of Management and the director of the MBA program. The BBA degree is awarded after successful completion of all undergraduate requirements. The MBA degree is awarded upon successful completion of the graduate requirements.
