Using Seating Chart in Canvas Roll-Call Attendance

Click Attendance on Canvas to take attendance for your class. You can drag and drop the students in your course to create a seating chart for your classroom. Currently, Roll Call does not support a seating chart print option. However, you can always print the screen image from your browser.

Customize the Roll Call Attendance in the Gradebook

With the Roll Call Attendance tool, instructors can keep track of course attendance by taking roll electronically. When you take attendance using Roll Call, Canvas automatically adds Roll Call Attendance as an assignment. The default point value for attendance is 100 points.
