Saint Xavier University has retained Credentials Solutions as its trusted agent for processing online transcript requests, printing and delivery service.

Transcript Release Policy

Transcript holds prevent students from obtaining their transcript and diploma. Transcript holds are placed on an account for any past due balance amount after the add/drop date for a semester. However, students with a transcript hold may obtain their transcript if needed for the following reasons:

  • Complete a job application.
  • Transfer from one institution of higher education to another.
  • Apply for state, federal or institutional financial aid.
  • Join the United States Armed Forces or Illinois National Guard.
  • Pursue other postsecondary opportunities.

If you have a transcript hold and need it for one of the above reasons, please submit an official transcript request according to the directions below and email studentaccountsFREESXU to state the reason for your transcript request so your request can be processed without delay.

Currently Enrolled Students

Currently enrolled students should log on to the mySXU portal and access Student Self-Service to place an order for official transcripts.

Alumni and Former Students

Students who are not currently enrolled can click on the Parchment link below to place an order for official transcripts.

Saint Xavier University has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending official transcripts, paper or electronic, on behalf of Saint Xavier University. The PDF transcript that is produced for electronic transcripts using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process. Credentials Solutions has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of Saint Xavier University and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.
