Testing Information and Instruction

The Office of Records and Registration has full- or partial-administrative responsibility of several academic examination programs, including the University's placement program and the college-level examination program® (CLEP®).

Exams the Records and Registration Office Does Not Oversee

Records and Registration does not administer, enforce policies or establish criteria for admission-related testing (ACT, GRE, MAT). Contact the Office of Admission for further information regarding these exams.

Note on Testing Services

Records and Registration does not serve as a proctoring center for classes or other exam programs, unless specified in these webpages. The Office of Records and Registration will, on occasion, permit students to take correspondence exams in its office. Such arrangements are made at the discretion of the Office of Records and Registration, and a $25.00 service fee will be charged. Students can register for a proctored exam by going to the Testing Registration page.

Exam Registration

Students can register for the Placement and/or CLEP exams by going to the Testing Registration page. Please follow each exam program link to find more information on registration policies and procedures. General information for these programs may also be found in the Office of Records and Registration, located in the Warde Academic Center.
